Our Mission
Bridge of Blessing brings faith, love and hope to underserved people of Ghana, West Africa. Experienced leaders share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a home-based church; through faith-based education for youth; after school tutoring for all ages in a neighborhood setting and providing basic necessities to neglected elderly women who live in poverty and isolation.
What Being Hopeless Means
It means having no place to call home, no bed to sleep in, no dining room to eat in and no bathroom. It means having no stove, no food and no means to support your family. It means living a life without love, compassion or the most basic resources. It means no knowledge of our Savior.
What Bridge of Blessing Means to the Hopeless
It means toothbrushes, soap and mosquito repellent. It means protecting babies from malaria. It means a blanket to sleep on instead of a blanket of shame. It means pencils, paper and lesson books to fill backpacks. It means an education for children as they are re-enrolled in school. It means love, kindness and Bibles. It means bringing joy and hope to people’s lives through a relationship with Jesus.
What You Mean to Bridge of Blessing
You mean encouragement. You mean giving to those who have nothing to give and sharing with those who have nothing to share. You mean giving people dignity and self-respect. You mean living for tomorrow, not just for the moment. You mean changing lives, families, neighborhoods and entire communities for all eternity. You mean bringing the people of Ghana purpose for their lives through Christ.
